About 2 a.m., Sunday morning, June 4, 2017 church members were notified that the church was on fire. When Bruce Stephens and Ron Patton arrived on the scene about 20 minutes after the call the church was totally engulfed in flames. Due to a electric line being down the fire crew was unable to put out the fire.
Through out the week following the fire many volunteers helped in the clean up process. Although we do not have photos of everyone who labored, we are VERY thankful for each and every one who took time out of their schedules to work or help in various ways. A HUGE thanks to the one who spent many long, hot hours hauling scrap metal to the recycles center and ashes to the dump!
