Thanksgiving Blessings

Thanksgiving is fast approaching! It is at this time of year that people gather with family and friends  and concentrate on being thankful for their blessings. With this season as a reminder, we as a church will also take extra time to be thankful, for we are truly blessed in many ways. Here are SOME of our many many blessings.

#1 We are thankful for a reason to live- Jesus. He has not only provided us with the way of salvation but also the everyday strength and guidance to be effective Christians. It is our desire to share this joy with those around us.

#2 We are thankful for all those who have stepped up in supporting the church since the fire. There has been many selfless hours of labor given, not to mention the tremendous financial and material donations. May God Bless each one of you! Here is a quick thanks and update from Ron Patton on the Building Project
Have you ever ate a elephant? You do it one bite at a time. That is how we have proceeded to work on this project. We have not always had the know-how or the wisdom to do this work, but God has been faithful to direct us in the way we should go. God has sent us willing people that have a heart to work and give. This has been such a blessing as the Lord reaffirms to us that He wants this work to continue. Many thanks to all of you that have been a part of this project. The walls are scheduled to go up in the middle of November. Please pray that the weather will permit this phase of the rebuilding to take place

#3 We are thankful for the children and adults that continue to join us for services at the temporary church. Keep each of these in your prayers as many face heartbreaking situations this season.

#4 One recent blessing we have received and are so thankful for is the donation of 22 wooden church pews. Thanks so much to Alberton Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church for this donation! Also a HUGE thank you to Andy Troyer and Wilson Treese for transporting them from Montana to South Dakota.
