Our Christmas program this year was busy and bustling with energetic children as usual! The theme for this year's program was "The Sounds of Christmas." Several of our older group of kids used rhythm instruments to make different sounds portraying the different sounds of the Christmas story while the younger children were dressed up for the Nativity scene. A group of our older children had been practicing and played "Joy to the World" on the hand bells. I was pleased with their interest in doing this and the effort they put into practicing. (Sorry we failed to get a picture of them playing.) While everything may not have gone as smoothly as we hoped, a lady that recently started coming to church keeps reminding me how much she appreciated the program. She said it was so good to hear the true Christmas story.
